ABC Rock Hunt
What's better than an outdoor scavenger hunt to help with letter recognition?
Paint some rocks, write some letters, hide and play!
Here's what you do:
Paint some rocks and write letters on them (I now use acrylic paint markers). When I first did this activity, I used washable paint and a sharpie, but the colors on the rocks didn't last with sprinklers and the rain. But if you don't have acrylic paint markers, either way works! ⠀ Have fun searching for all the ABC rocks! You can even put them in ABC order after you find them all! We are saving ours (in a nice and dry place) to use over and over again!
