Snowman String Cheese: A Simple and Festive Snack for the Holidays

Snowman String Cheese: A Simple and Festive Snack for the Holidays

My kids always get excited when a snowman string cheese ends up in their lunchbox. They are a simple way to add a festive healthier snack option to class holiday parties too. I've simplified this snack for you with a free snowman hat printable you can download today.

Here's What You Need to Make the Snowman String Cheese Snacks:

  • individually packaged string cheese
  • black permanent marker
  • orange permanent marker (optional)
  • yarn or ribbon
  • scissors
  • tape
  • printable snowman hats (free download is below)

How to Make Snowman String Cheese Snacks:

  1. On the backside of a packaged string cheese, use a permanent marker to draw eyes, a carrot nose (option to use an orange marker), a smile, and a few buttons (leaving some space for the ribbon scarf)
  2. Cut a small piece of yarn or ribbon and tie it around the string cheese (below the smile and above the buttons). This is the scarf.
  3. Cut out a snowman hat from the free printable (download is below)
  4. Place a small circle of tape on the backside of a snowman hat and attach it above the face of the snowman on the string cheese.
  5. Your snack is ready to be admired and enjoy!
